Learn how to make sabudana modak recipe in hindi. This is steamed modak made from sabudana. An Indian sweet recipe which is made during fasting and as well as festival days.
Ingredients
- Sabudana (1/2 cup)
- Peanuts (2 tbsp) (optional)
- Potato (3 small sizes)
- Green Chillis (4-5)
Cooking Instructions
- Take 1/2 cup sabudana dry fry it
- When it's fluffy then remove from the gas flame
- For potato stuffing
- Add 2 tbsp oil into pan
- Add crushed green Chills
- Add mashed potatoes
- Add crushed peanuts
- Add salt according to taste
- Now your stuffing is ready
- Now take 1 glass water add some salt into that and boiled it
- Now take sabudana powder and add hot water into that to make a dough
- This sabudana flour is very sticky. So, apply some oil in your hands and make a dough
- Now your dough is ready
- Let's move to prepare modak
- First apply some oil in your hands and make small balls of dough
- Also apply oil to mold and put these balls into it.
- With the help of water give shape to the dough
- As per mould, stuff the potatoes stuffing in that. And make a modak.
- Now your modak is ready
- Now apply oil to this.
- Add 2 glass water and boil it
- And steam modak for 7-8 minutes
- And your modak is ready to eat.
