Besan Bread Toast

Besan bread toast is a very simple and tasty snack recipe prepared with gram flour, veggies, and spices.

Ingredients
  • Gram flour - 120 grams
  • Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
  • Red chili - 1/2 tsp
  • Carom Seeds /ajwain - 1/4 tsp
  • Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
  • Chaat Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Green chili - 1 tsp
  • Ginger Paste - 1/4 tsp
  • Onion - 25 grams
  • Capsicum - 25 grams
  • Coriander - 1 tbsp
  • Water - 125 ml
  • Bread slices
  • Oil - to fry
Cooking Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl except bread and oil.
  2. Whisk well till to smooth consistency and keep aside for 5-10 minutes to get thick and flawless consistency batter.
  3. Heat the non-stick tawa on medium flame. Now dip a bread slice one by one into besan batter and cover both sides.
  4. Place the toast on pan and cook it on low flame. Flip and cook from both sides till golden brown and crisp.
  5. Press gently to make sure batter is cooked properly. Finally cut the slices into triangles and serve hot with sauces.
