BONELESS CHICKEN PULAO RECIPE

Ingredients
  • Rice (Any of your choice) - 1 cup (Soak it for 15 - 20 mins)
  • Pudina / Mint Leaves - 1/2 Cup ( Do not chop )
  • GG paste - 1Tbsp
  • 2 medium Onions
  • Coriander - 1/2 Cup
  • 2 Big Tomatoes Chopped
  • Boneless Chicken - 1 Cup (250 Grams)
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1Tbsp ( as per your taste )
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1tsp
  • Jeera Powder - 1tsp
  • Cinnamon - 2, Cloves - 3, Bay leaves - 2, Star - 1, Cardamom - 1, Marata Moggu - 1, Sahijeera- 1/2 tsp
  • Kasur Methi - 1/2 tsp
  • Water - 2 Cups
  • Ghee - 2tbsp
  • oil - 3tbsp
Cooking Instructions
Step 1 :
  1. Add oil and half amount of ghee as specified in the ingredients (1tbsp) in the cooker.
  2. Once the oil and ghee becomes hot add the whole spices.
  3. Add the chopped onion and salt. Saute till the onion color changes into light brown.
  4. Add turmeric powder , GG paste , Saute till you get a beautiful aroma.
  5. Add pudina and coriander leaves.
Step 2 :
  1. Add the cut chicken pieces, mix well and Maggie cube ( optional for better taste ).
  2. Add tomatoes and let it cook well.
  3. Add chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder and jeera powder.
  4. Drain the water and add the soaked rice. Give it a good mix . Do not break the rice while mixing.
  5. Add 2 cups of hot water. ( Hot water for early cooking of rice ) ( prefer normal water also ).
  6. Give it a good mix and add squeeze lemon.
  7. Add the remaining ghee. Adjust salt as per taste.
Step 3 :
  1. Close the cooker lid and let it cook for 2 whistles in high flame.
  2. Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
