Instant Oats Idli

A healthy steamed oats idli recipes which are very nutritious and gives you the energy which is needed to kick start your day. Oats idli can be an ideal healthy breakfast option. Oats are very healthy for you as they are super-rich in fiber and idlis are steamed. Veggies can also be added to the batter to make them tastier and more nutritious.

  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 cup semolina
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt to taste
  •  ½ inch ginger, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup green capsicum, finely chopped
  • 2 green chillies, finely chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Carrot (grated)
  • 1 cup curd
  • Oil for greasing
  • Coconut chutney
Cooking Instructions
  1. In a blender add oats and make a fine powder of it.
  2. In a bowl add oats powder, semolina, baking soda, salt, curd, water and mix it well.
  3. Now add, ginger, capsicum, green chili, carrot, and curd in a bowl, whisk together.
  4. Add some water and whisk to form a lump-free batter.
  5. Put this mixture in a Greased idli tray and cook them on a steam for 10-12 minutes.

Serve hot with Coconut chutney.
