Paneer Tikka

Instant Delicious Paneer tikka at home. When we talking about the most famous Indian starter and yes it’s getting famous because of its flavors and texture.

Ingredients
  • 450 gram Paneer cheese Cut into small cubes
  • 6 Peppers (Capsicum) red, green, and yellow color Deseeded and cut into cubes
  • 1 cup thick yogurt
  • turmeric powder ½ tsp
  • coriander powder ½ tsp
  • ½ tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp oil

You will also need:

  • 8 Metal skewers Or wooden skewers, soaked for 2 hours in water before use
Cooking Instructions
  1. Cut the paneer & vegetables into bite-size chunks.
  2. In a big bowl, whisk ½ cup yogurt with oil and all the spices. Drop the cut panner and veggies into the bowl. Give it a mix and allow it to marinate for at least 30min
  3. Arrange the paneer cubes in skewers One-piece bell pepper red colour then One-piece bell pepper yellow colour one paneer cube and One-piece bell pepper green colour.
  4. Take a pan griller or normal pan, add oil, and put marinated skewers
  5. Don’t turn skewers regularly otherwise you might miss that grill marks
  6. After 2-3 min Turn the skewers and keep it for 2-3 min and done
  7. Serve warm with green chutney on the side.

Option (A)

  • Preheat the grill to the hottest setting. Please the skewers on a rack over a baking sheet (or grill pan). Cook for 15 - 20 minutes, turning once, until browned and golden all over.
  • To cook in the oven: Preheat the oven to 220C.

Option (B)

  • Please the skewers on a rack over a baking sheet (or grill pan). Cook for 15 - 20 minutes, turning once, until browned and golden all over.

Option (C)

  • To cook in the oven you do not need to skewer the pieces of paneer if you prefer. Just throw everything into a light oil baking dish and bake for 15 - 20 minutes until starting to turn crunchy on the outside.
