A unique and fusion recipe between 2 popular cuisines i.e Indian cuisine and Italian cuisine. basically a desi or spicy twist to the authentic Italian pasta recipe to meet the taste buds of spice lovers. it is an ideal lunch box/breakfast recipe or kids recipe too.
Ingredients
- 1 cup penne pasta, or any pasta
- water to boil
- ½ tsp salt½ tsp salt
- 3 Tomatoes
- 2 onions medium sliced
- 3 cloves garlic fresh
- 1 tablespoon oil
- pinch of chilli flaxes
- pinch of Periperi
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
Cooking Instructions
- Take a pan and boil 1 glasses of water by adding salt.
- Add pasta and let it cook for at least 10 minutes. While cooking pasta adds 2 teaspoons of oil so that the pasta will not stick together.
- Drain the pasta and keep aside.
- Heat the oil over medium-high heat in a large saucepan.
- Add the onion and saute 5 to 6 minutes or until its soft.
- Add the garlic and cook for 2 to 3min, until you see the colour start changing.
- Add Chilli flaxes, periperi cook for 1 min.
- Make the puree of tomatoes and add salt and some pepper to taste.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer about 10 minutes cover it.
- Stir for balance in the consistency of the sauce It has to be fluid, but it should not look overly wet.
