A unique and fusion recipe between 2 popular cuisines i.e Indian cuisine and Italian cuisine. basically a desi or spicy twist to the authentic Italian pasta recipe to meet the taste buds of spice lovers. it is an ideal lunch box/breakfast recipe or kids recipe too.

  • 1 cup penne pasta, or any pasta
  • water to boil
  • ½ tsp salt½ tsp salt
  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 2 onions medium sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic fresh
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • pinch of chilli flaxes
  • pinch of Periperi
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
Cooking Instructions
  1. Take a pan and boil 1 glasses of water by adding salt.
  2. Add pasta and let it cook for at least 10 minutes. While cooking pasta adds 2 teaspoons of oil so that the pasta will not stick together.
  3. Drain the pasta and keep aside.
  4. Heat the oil over medium-high heat in a large saucepan.
  5. Add the onion and saute 5 to 6 minutes or until its soft.
  6. Add the garlic and cook for 2 to 3min, until you see the colour start changing.
  7. Add Chilli flaxes, periperi cook for 1 min.
  8. Make the puree of tomatoes and add salt and some pepper to taste.
  9. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer about 10 minutes cover it.
  10. Stir for balance in the consistency of the sauce It has to be fluid, but it should not look overly wet.
