Tasty and nutritious kebabs made with soya beans and other hot ingredients like chilies and condiments.

Ingredients
  • 75 grams Soya Chunks
  • 1 medium onion finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies
  • 6 to 7 cloves of garlic
  • 1-inch ginger
  • A handful of coriander leaves chopped
  • A handful of mint leaves chopped
  • 2 tbsp wheat flour/besan/plain flour
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for frying
Cooking Instructions
  1. Soak the soya chunks in hot water for around an hour.
  2. Meanwhile, in a small jar make a paste out of ginger, garlic, and green chilies.
  3. Squeeze out all the water from the soya chunks and grind it coarse in a mixer.
  4. It should not be ground into a paste rather just enough for it to be rolled into patties.
  5. Saute the onions lightly in ghee and set aside. Mix the ginger, garlic, and chilly paste with this.
  6. Now add all the spices, onion, coriander leaves, mint leaves, salt, and a binding agent (atta/maida/besan).
  7. Mix this well and roll it into kebabs. If it breaks add some more atta or maida and balance out the spices if needed by adding more and roll it.
  8. Shallow fry kebabs with little oil in a frying pan or makes patties and deep fry it.
