Coconut Cake

Coconut is such a versatile flavor and can be used in savory or sweet dishes.
Ingredients
- ¼ Kg. Rava (fine)
- 250 gms. Desiccated coconut
- 5 eggs
- ½ tsp vanilla essence
- 100 gms Amul butter
- 350 gms. Sugar
- ¼ tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
Cooking Instructions
- Melt sugar in ¾ cup water brings to boil till sticky consistency leave it to cool.
- Beat eggs and butter well separately.
- Add the desiccated coconut to the cold sugar syrup and then add Rava and mix well.
- Then add the eggs and butter and mix again.
- Lastly add baking powder and vanilla essence and bake in a preheated oven at 175 C or till done.
