Coconut Cake

Coconut is such a versatile flavor and can be used in savory or sweet dishes.

Ingredients
  • ¼ Kg. Rava (fine)
  • 250 gms. Desiccated coconut
  • 5 eggs
  • ½ tsp vanilla essence
  • 100 gms Amul butter
  • 350 gms. Sugar
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
Cooking Instructions
  1. Melt sugar in ¾ cup water brings to boil till sticky consistency leave it to cool.
  2. Beat eggs and butter well separately.
  3. Add the desiccated coconut to the cold sugar syrup and then add Rava and mix well.
  4. Then add the eggs and butter and mix again.
  5. Lastly add baking powder and vanilla essence and bake in a preheated oven at 175 C or till done.
