Corn and Paneer Rice

Corn and Paneer Rice is a healthy and delicious rice dish that can be made under 30 minutes and makes for a great lunch box option.

  • Tomato (finely chopped)
  • Onion (finely chopped)
  • Sweet corn
  • Paneer
  • Green chilly
  • Tomato sauce
  • Chilly sauce
  • Ginger garlic paste
  • Oil
  • Mustard seeds
  • Everest biryani masala
  • Chilly powder
  • Turmeric
  • Salt 
  • Sugar
Cooking Instructions

Instructions (for paneer)

  1. Cut paneer into small pieces. about 1/2 inch thick 
  2. In a small bowl mix tomato sauce, chilly sauce, ginger garlic paste, salt and rub this paste into the paneer.
  3. Shallow fry the paneer for about 2 - 3 minutes till they are golden brown.
  4. Transfer the fried paneer to a plate.

Instructions (for fried rice)

  1. Heat a pan with oil and add mustard seeds.
  2. When they begin to splutter add finely chopped onion, green chilly(optional), ginger garlic paste, and fry till onion turns golden brown.
  3. Next add chopped tomato, chilly powder, turmeric, biryani masala, salt, sugar, and saute till tomatoes are soften.
  4. Now add sweet corn and stir fry for 5 - 6 minutes.
  5. Then add fried paneer cubes, stir and mix well.
  6. Next, add cooked rice to it and mix well.
