BESAN LADDU (LADOO) RECIPE
(Please try at home - Very tasty & easy to make)
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Besan (Gram Flour), sifted, 256 Grams, (measured after sifting the flour)
- 1/2 cup Ghee, 100 grams
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 255 grams, add accordingly as per your taste.
- 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
- 3-4 sliced nuts like almonds or pista or cashews optional.
Cooking Instructions
PROCEDURE:
- Take gram flour sieve it
- Take a pan and let it heat for about a minute and add half amount of the ghee specified in the ingredients.
- Once the ghee melts add the gram flour ( med-low flame )
- Roast it and keep adding the remaining ghee till you get a good aroma of the flour (15-20 mins)
- The consistency of the flour becomes loose and watery, now add cardamom powder and switch off the gas.
- Transfer it to a mixing bowl
- Let it cool for about 5-10 mins.
- Now add this point add sugar powder (Make sure not to add sugar powder in hot or too cold batter which could melt and destroy the recipe).
- Make balls as per your required size ( with the measurement that we chose we can make medium-sized 12 ladoos)
- Garnish with almonds (pista or cashews as per your taste).
- Serve it and enjoy it.
