Carrot Laddu (Gajar Laddu)

Gajar Laddu will probably be everyone’s favourite. If you like you can even add coconut but I prefer skipping it to enjoy the full flavor of carrots. I always love desserts with carrot and this laddu is sure going to my keeper recipe for any get-together or sudden guests.

  • Carrot – 1 cup grated
  • Sweet condensed milk – 1/3 cup
  • Milk powder - 3 to 4 tbsp
  • Pistachios - 5
  • Ghee - 1 tbsp
Cooking Instructions
  1. Wash the carrots thoroughly and grate those.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp ghee add carrot saute till color change to pale orange. (low flame)
  3. Add condensed milk then stir continuously till thickens.
  4. Finally, add milk powder milk well & cut off heat. Then let it cool.
  5. Then make equal size laddu from the mixture.
  6. Garnish with pistachios & store it in an airtight container


  • Make sure to saute the carrot well before adding condensed milk
  • You can add cardamom powder for flavor, I didn't add.
  • Keep Laddu in good room temperature for a day and for at least 3 days if refrigerated.
