Aloo Pakoda perfect tea-time snacks.
Ingredients
- Potato - 2 (Medium size)
- Besan - 1 cup
- Turmeric - 1/4 tsp
- Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chaat masala -1/4 tsp
- Pinch of hing
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- Salt
- Water
- Oil for deep frying
Cooking Instructions
- Wash, Peel the potatoes & slice them.
- Take a bowl, add besan, turmeric, red chilli powder, chaat masala, hing, ginger garlic paste.
- Add water slowly(without forming any lumps) and make flowing consistency batter, the batter should not be too thick or thin but it should coat the potato slice.
- Dip the sliced potato into prepared besan batter and coat it completely. Heat oil in a wide deep pan and medium-high.
- Fry the Aloo slice from both the sides till they are crisp and golden in color (stir occasionally).
- Serve Aloo Pakoda's with green chutney or tomato ketchup.
