Dagdi Poha Chivda

Chivda is an all-time favourite tea time snack in Maharashtra. Diwali is incomplete without chivda. There are different types of chivda like patal phoe chivda, maka chivda, batata chavda etc. Poha are rice flakes or beaten rice. These are flavored with some spices to make chivda. Today we will prepare bhajake pohe chivda.

Ingredients
  • Dagdi Poha (½ Kg)
  • Peanuts (1 cup)
  • Dry coconut (½ cup)
  • Mustard seeds (4 tbsp)
  • Turmeric powder (2 tbsp)
  • Chana Dal (1 cup)
  • Green chilies (20-25)
  • Curry leaves (30-40)
  • Salt (as per taste)
Cooking Instructions
  1. Hot the oil in a pan
  2. Make sure the oil is hot enough First fry the poha
  3. Then fry peanuts
  4. Let's fry dry coconut Fry chana dal
  5. Now mix well
