Lahsun Chakli

This delicious and crispy lahsun chakli is very delicious in taste. Well, you can make it anytime, but this special chakli is made in large quantities during festive days.

People keep coming to each other’s house on the days of festivals, so give them some good snacks, so that they will also like it. It is also very easy to make Chakli. You can store this chakli for several days and enjoy it.

  • Jowar flour - 2 cup
  • All-purpose flour - 2 cup
  • Oil for moin - ½ cup
  • Salt 1 tsp or as required
  • Green chili paste - 4 teaspoons
  • Dry lasun Powder- 2 teaspoons or (garlic paste)
  • Turmeric powder - ½ teaspoons
  • Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoons
  • Sesame seeds - 3 teaspoons
  • Oil to fry chakli
Cooking Instructions
  1. First, take a bowl and mix jowar flour, all-purpose flour, salt, green chilli paste, dry Lasun Powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, sesame seeds and a half cup of oil and mix it well.
  2. Now add a little water and make a stiff dough.
  3. The dough is ready to make Chakli. Now take the Chakli making machine and grease it by applying oil in its container and mesh. Then mash the dough again and make it smooth and take a little dough, increase it in length, and fill it in a container to make chakli and close the machine. 
  4. Now press the machine slightly into a plate and make a chakli in the plate by turning the machine in a circular direction. 
  5. Put oil in a pan and heat it. Oil should be medium hot for frying chakli. When the oil is hot, check it.
  6. Put a small piece of flour in it. If it is roasted and immediately comes up, then understand that the oil is hot enough to fry the chakli.
  7. Now lift the chakli from the ladle in such a way and put it in the hot oil so that the chakli shape does not break.
  8. Pour as much chakli as it comes in the pan and fries it till it turns light brown and takes it out in a plate. The gas flame should be medium while frying the Chakli. Likewise, fry all the chakli.

Delicious and crispy lahsun chakli is ready. When it cools completely, fill it in a box and you can store it for one month.
