Besan ka halwa tastes so great and it's very nutritious and good especially in winters. Try to make it in a non-stick pan because gram flour burns so easily in other pans. Cook halwa on very low flame for good result.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 1/2 cup Besan
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Tsp Cardamom Powder
- Dry Fruits for Garnish
Cooking Instructions
- Take a heavy bottom pan and add ghee.
- Next, add besan to it and fry till it turns golden brown.
- Now add water and milk and mix well till the two ingredients get well absorbed in the besan.
- Add sugar and mix well.
- Sprinkle cardamom powder and stir again.
- Make sure you cook on low flame.
- When the ghee starts separating from the sides, top the halwa with your favorite dry fruits and serve.
