Corn Pakoda

Corn pakoda recipe, perfect snack for tea, coffee time.

Ingredients
  • Corn - 2 Cups
  • Chopped Onion - 1/2 Cup
  • Besan - 1/2 Cup
  • Corn Flour or Rice Flour - 1/4 Cup
  • Turmeric - 1/4 Cup
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Ginger chili paste -1/2 tsp
  • Ajwain - 1/4 tsp
  • Jeera - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt as per your taste
  • Oil for deep frying
Cooking Instructions
  1. Pulse the 1 Cup corn kernels in a grinder 2-3 times to break them into small pieces.
  2. Take a bowl mix all the ingredients.
  3. Add little water to make a thick batter.
  4. Heat oil in the pan.
  5. Once the oil is hot, drop small portions of the batter in the hot oil and fry on medium-low heat until the pakodas are crispy.
  6. Remove the pakodas on a tissue lined plate.
  7. Serve hot with coriander chutney.
