Dal Vada is crunchy and delectable recipe needs no introduction, as it is prepared in every region with a twist of spices and ingredients. In fact, each variant has a unique yet awesome taste, which reflects the regional influence and culinary culture.
Ingredients
- Soaked chana dal - 2 cup
- Chopped onion - 2 Medium size
- Ginger and Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Jeera - 1/4 tsp
- Salt as per your taste
- Oil for deep frying
Cooking Instructions
- Grind chana daal into a coarse paste.
- Take a bowl combine all the ingredients.
- Scoop out medium-sized ball from the prepared mixture and flatten gently between palm making round and flat vada.
- Heat oil in the pan and fry vadas until vadas are crispy.
- Remove the pakodas on a tissue lined plate.
- Serve hot with coriander chutney.
