Dal Vada is crunchy and delectable recipe needs no introduction, as it is prepared in every region with a twist of spices and ingredients. In fact, each variant has a unique yet awesome taste, which reflects the regional influence and culinary culture.

Ingredients
  • Soaked chana dal - 2 cup
  • Chopped onion - 2 Medium size
  • Ginger and Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Jeera - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt as per your taste
  • Oil for deep frying
Cooking Instructions
  1. Grind chana daal into a coarse paste.
  2. Take a bowl combine all the ingredients.
  3. Scoop out medium-sized ball from the prepared mixture and flatten gently between palm making round and flat vada.
  4. Heat oil in the pan and fry vadas until vadas are crispy.
  5. Remove the pakodas on a tissue lined plate.
  6. Serve hot with coriander chutney.
