Dadape Pohe

Dadape pohe is a very simple, quick, and yet very satisfying comfort food. It is a different version of the famous Maharashtrian breakfast recipe Kandepohe. They are not cooked like normal pohas and are generally made with just mixing a few ingredients.
Ingredients
- 150 gms Poha
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp Groundnut
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 Lemon Juice
- 3-4 Green Chillies
- Coriander Leaves
- ¼ tsp. Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 10-12 Curry Leaves
- Salt to taste
Cooking Instructions
- In a bowl, take pohe.
- Add grated fresh coconut, coriander, and lemon juice. Mix everything well together.
- Sprinkle some water on the poha cover and give it a standing time of 15 minutes.
- Add tadka to pohe. Heat up oil in a pan. When oil is enough hot, add mustard and let it pop up.
- When mustard pops up, and add peanuts and fry until peanuts turn reddish. Add asafoetida, green chilies, curry leaves, and onion.
- Fry the onion till translucent. Mix well and pour the tadka on the pohe.
- Add salt and little sugar. Mix well.
Dadape pohe is already.
