Dadape Pohe

Dadape pohe is a very simple, quick, and yet very satisfying comfort food. It is a different version of the famous Maharashtrian breakfast recipe Kandepohe. They are not cooked like normal pohas and are generally made with just mixing a few ingredients.

Ingredients
  • 150 gms Poha
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Groundnut
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 Lemon Juice
  • 3-4 Green Chillies
  • Coriander Leaves
  • ¼ tsp. Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 10-12 Curry Leaves
  • Salt to taste
Cooking Instructions
  1. In a bowl, take pohe.
  2. Add grated fresh coconut, coriander, and lemon juice. Mix everything well together.
  3. Sprinkle some water on the poha cover and give it a standing time of 15 minutes.
  4. Add tadka to pohe. Heat up oil in a pan. When oil is enough hot, add mustard and let it pop up.
  5. When mustard pops up, and add peanuts and fry until peanuts turn reddish. Add asafoetida, green chilies, curry leaves, and onion.
  6. Fry the onion till translucent. Mix well and pour the tadka on the pohe.
  7. Add salt and little sugar. Mix well.

Dadape pohe is already.
