The best part of Nimbu Pani is it just refreshes and gives instant energy. In the northern states of India, it’s also known as Shikanji.
Ingredients
- Lemon - 1 medium-sized
- chilled water - 2 glasses
- Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Chat masala – 1 tsp
- Black salt or salt as required
- Sugar or as required
- Few lemon slices (optional)
- Few ice cubes
- Mint leave -2 (optional)
Cooking Instructions
- Take water in a vessel.
- Slice the lemon and squeeze the juice with the squeezer or with the help of your hand into the water. Discard the seed.
- Add sugar, black salt, cumin powder, chat masala, and ice cubes.
- Mix all until sugar dissolves.
- Pour into tall glasses and add lemon slices if using.
- Serve Nimbu Pani chilled.
