Aloo Tikki Chaat is very easy to make and it's one of my favorites. Who hates chaats?! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Aloo Tikki can be used in many chaat recipes, I even love to have it as such with just sweet and green chutney hence this easy aloo Tikki chaat idea. Homemade chaats are always special as they are guiltfree and you can be well assured to serve for kids too.

Ingredients
  • 6 Boiled Potatoes
  • Ground Peanuts
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 2 Chopped Green Chillies
  • 1/3 tsp Coriander Powder
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp Grated Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • Coriander Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Corn Flour
  • 2 tbsp Tamarind Chutney
  • 2 tbsp Green Chutney
  • 1 tbsp Curd
  • Little Refined Oil
  • Curd
  • Little Water
Cooking Instructions
  1. At first, boil 6 medium-sized potatoes and peel them off.
  2. Now mash them with your hands. Donโ€™t grate the boiled potatoes. Now add some roasted and ground peanuts, black pepper powder, green chillies, Coriander powder for flavour, salt to taste, some grated ginger, roasted cumin powder, coriander leaves, and cornflour as a binder.
  3. Mix all the things together and make a tight dough.
  4. Now we shall make tikkis from that dough. Take some portions in hand and press and give the shape of Tikki and adjust the sides of them. I have made 9 tikkis from the entire dough. You can alter the size and shape of the tikkis according to your wish.
  5. Now heat little oil in a pan. Because we are going to shallow fry the tikkis.
  6. Shallow fry the tikkis golden & crispy from both the sides. When all the tikkis are fried place them on a platter and pour some sour curd, green chutney and tamarind chutney, some black pepper powder, cumin powder, and some black salt.
  7. Here our super tasty Aloo Tikki Chaat is ready.
