Soya Crispy

Soya chunks are a crispy and protein-rich snack. It’s a little spicy and completely changing the definition of a healthy snack option. Enjoy this healthy snack with any of your preferable sauces or chutney.

  • Soya chunks 100gm
  • Corn flour 3tbsp
  • Refined flour 2tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1tbsp
  • Chilli powder 1/2 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 1/2tbsp

For Cooking

  • Chopped Spring onions 1 cup
  • Chopped Capsicum 1cup
  • Schzewan chutney 1 cup
  • Soya sauce 2tbsp
  • Chilly tomato sauce 2tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste
Cooking Instructions
  1. In hot water add salt and soak soya chunks for 1-2hrs
  2. Remove all the excess water from chunks properly.
  3. Mix all the ingredients (corn flour, maida, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric, lemon juice, salt)
  4. Keep it for 20-30min
  5. Keep the oil for frying. Fry the chunks until it turns brown or crispy.
  6. Keep it on a butter paper to remove excess oil.
  7. Add 1/2tbsp of oil in a Kadai. Add chopped spring onion, capsicum and cook it until it's tender.
  8. Add schzewan chutney, soya sauce, chilly tomato sauce and mix it well.
  9. Add the fried soya chunks and coat it well.

Serve it hot.
